Today’s post will be incredibly short, and of course very sweet.

Just one simple concept.

As you pursue your fitness and health goals, there is a very good rule of thumb you can use to measure how your are doing.

It is simply this:  Do your actions match your goals?

Your actions either move you closer to your goals or further away from them.

If you are trying to lose a pant size:

-Eating fast food regularly will take you further from your goal.

-Eating whole foods that are nutrient dense will move you towards your goal.

If you are trying to get stronger:

-Doing the exact same set/rep scheme week after week will keep you exactly where you are.

-Trying to add 1 more rep or 5 pounds to the bar every workout will move you towards your goal.

Take a moment.

Review what your goals are.  (You do have goals right?)

Take an honest look at your actions.

Do they match your goals?

If not, it’s time to make some changes.
